Worldtalker you are so right when you said Let them get good and get fat. Wife and I enjoy watching them play bears keep knocking our feeders down. But the squirrels can get to our bird feeders they love the sunflower seed

It took almost a year to stop them from getting to the feeder,they just can't navigate the steep angle.

Worldtalker Thanks I will try your setup I have 7 eating now 5 on the ground two in feeders. One was ran off by a big crow the squirrels knock the seeds out on ground and crows eat a lot of it. Your setup may help save our bird seed Thanks

I use single strand copper wire,holes drilled through the bottle cap and bottle end with 1/8 plastic tubing.
