I've watched him for several weeks now the back yard is part of his hunting ground.
There's a hawk hanging out in the trees here. My neighbor had solar panels install on his roof and now rock pigeons are going under them at night and hanging around on top of his house and circling overhead of his house everyday day now for a few months. I've no doubt they'll be nesting under those solar panels. He said it's driving him nuts, because he can hear those pigeons cooing all the time in their bed at night. I'm sure that hawk is out to snag everyone of those pigeons eventually. I've seen the hawk go after the pigeons in flight, but those pigeons kick it into high gear and outrun that hawk. It's gonna take a peregrine falcon to come by and catch any of those pigeons. They can really move when they want a get away from danger.

Great photos. Put up a sign the hawk can read that says "no squirrel hunting".
