This is across and about 1/4 mile down the road from my house.

The first picture shows where the mobile home had been....The ground is gone where it was sitting and the sewer pipe it had been connected to is protruding out of the bank....The mobile home is in the distance where it drifted about 150 yards down stream.

There has been a lot of other damage the last few days in this area.

There has been a lot of floods over the years. I hope no one was in there.

It was a rental and the young couple lived there with there small kids. Thankfully they saw what was happening and spent the night somewhere else. They lost about everything.

Tragic. Every so often, those flat bottom mountain valleys fill up with runoff. Glad they got out.

This is Clear Creek, about five miles upstream from the Fish Hatchery...Seven miles from Kooskia....The small nearby community of Stites, ID got flooded, and a friends elderly mother had to be rescued by a National Guard helicopter.

I thought it was in the Kooskia area, Ron, thanks. Sorry you guys are having to go through this. Chris and i were in Couer d'alene last month, and amazed at how much snow there was. I guess we all got clobbered in February.

Have things settled down there? May end up spending a few months on a job in Pierce later this year.

Starting to get better...Most of the main roads are passable now. Lots of slides and washouts, but getting better.

Here, in Brookings Oregon we had 13.28 inches of rain in 48 hours. Floods, landslides.
