MOM!! There's a monster looking at us!!

First time this year that Lucky brought her babies to visit. I'm guessing that
little one (1 of 4) is about 8 weeks. Cutest little critters ya ever saw...

90% of the time it's either dry dog or cat food. Lucky gets an
egg now and then. If I'm out of dog food, then it's a piece of
bread and peanut butter.

The little ones just started eating solid food, so they pick a little
at the smaller cat food, but for the most part they still rely on
mom for their meals.

They also forge around the property, as there's plenty of natural
groceries available. We used to have carpenter ants, but the 'coons
love 'em, and eat 'em like popcorn. Same goes for slugs, snails,
spiders, mice and other small rodents (gophers, moles, etc.).

Natural pest control at it's finest..:occasion14:

Great pic. They eat carpenter ants, huh? My mom and dad's place has had carpenter ants since I was a teenager. Maybe they need a coon around.

Our 3 little skunks were taking care of the grubs, but they up and disappeared. Kind of a good thing. They were keeping me out of one of my favorite hunting areas, plus they were too close to the house.
