It wasn't like this a yesterday. Yesterday there was maybe half an inch of snow... now there is 6-8 inches. Looking forward to next year and eagerly awaiting the 2019 annual finds forum. IMG_2090.JPG
I don't know why the picture is sideways.

I don't know why the picture is sideways.

It was close to 90 degrees, bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, here today.

The drawback?

It's California

I just have to get the he-LL out of here.

I left Colorado yesterday in snow, but all across Wyoming was a nice 40 degrees with cloudy skies. Now I'm in Western Nevada and the weather's very nice mid 60s. Been hearing on the radio how cold it's gonna be out east, but it not supposed last.

I always complain about the weather here in Ohio but I don't really mean it anymore... I went to Phoenix last summer and it was pretty miserable, I think it is pretty hot out when it gets to 90 degrees. I couldn't stand the 116 we got in Phoenix. Ohio is nice and cold.

Well, to finish it off, it's 9 degrees here right now. At least it's going to be sunny today!

That's funny...isnt detecting illegal in California yet?

Yes,
And I stood up in front of everyone and said,......

"If metal detecting is outlawed,.......I'll be an outlaw"

Then I realized everyone in the room was wearing either a unicorn or a rainbow T shirt,......

Then I realized I didn't have a concealed weapon permit.

Then I realized I was wearing boots, because I work for a living, everyone else,..expensive running shoes.

Then I woke up in a cold sweat,.... it was just another nightmare.

Like tomorrow mornings traffic.

I'm holding onto hope, looks like some warmer weather ahead and I hope so. Have a Thanksgiving weekend of digging planned with a buddy here. Come mid December I'm off to SC low country for a weekend of relic hunting.

Well a detector is long black and cylindrical so they probably wont outright ban your assault detector just yet. Just make you put a key lock on it, limit you to low capacity batteries and make you sign something saying ...you have no rights...youre on a list...we can search you and your property at any time. Just guessing.

This is fun
