This last May my family and I drove from Colorado to Lake Tahoe, Nevada to visit my Dad. We like to drive highway 50 because there's a lot of nice scenery. This tree is out in the middle of nowhere, full of shoes. I'm not really sure why people like to tie their shoes together and throw them up in this tree, but they do. The picture looks curvy because I used a 15mm fisheye to get the shot.

Hey Nugget. Seems like I remember hearing about that tree; maybe Charles Kurwalt on The Road...or some show like that. Probably a strange site to se.

There was a shoe tree on my moms street. I can remember it being there many years up until they sold the house about two years ago. They couldnt get them all so maybe one pair of old converse left on the tree. ILl see whats left an get a photo next time I go.

I saw a "shoe fence" in Nebraska (near Valentine) one time.

Lots of shoes and boots on top of metal barb-wire fence poles.

Should have taken a picture but didn't.
