Lum & Abner's 'Jot em down store'

Went past this old store the other day on my way to the 'Quartz festival'.
It was made famous by 'Lum & Abner' Chester 'chet' Lauch, & Norris 'Tuffy' Goff, they started in the 1930's & went from local radio shows to Hollywood movies.
They did several 'characters', based on folks they knew in the little town of 'Waters AR', later the name was changed to 'Pine Ridge'.
They also helped to start the museum after they retired, it is full of pictures, movie posters, & antiques, even has a working post office inside.
They retired after 24 & a half years, seven movies, & thousands of radio programs, from the 30's to the 50's.

Thanks, it's a pretty small community, if you
blink, you'll miss it. ;D
It's between 'Mena' & 'Pencil Bluff AR'.

On a previous visit I bought a 'collapsing outhouse'
you drop in a coin, & it falls apart, they have lots of 'gismo's'. :P
