Rainy drizzle melts the big stuff and makes every thing else extra-slick.

I went east along the southside Platte River from the border of Colorado to Omaha in about an hours time yesterday. Here's a shot of the river just east of Fremont Nebraska.

Tomorrow at 6:20pm. Saw a cool site as we were landing a bald eagle was gliding down below the plane as we were coming down close to the ground. Never been to the airport in Omaha before and you come down real low over the Missouri River just before the runway. I had a family matter in Iowa to deal with and I wanted to drive out, but my wife said no, so hurry up and take care of it and not be a cheap ass about it. Pretty fast way to get across Nebraska it was. Indeed I saw a whole bunch of sand hills in that state.

Ok 6:20 mountain time, before, It will be dark? I could build big fire? It’s blowing 60 now. I think rain and snow tomorrow? So that would be good fire day when wind goes down.
What are you flying? I really like that pic. It shows see all the different fields and crops residue and what’s catching snow and what’s blown away.
