I was up your way yesterday, as I meet a fellow employee from Nucla to transfer a load there at the Frisco Walmart parking lot at noon. Weather wasn't all that bad your side of divide, but down along 70 in around Idaho Springs and Georgetown the wind was blowing like a MoFo.

Bad stretch around Georgetown for wind. We had winds over 100mph down in Breck the other night on Peak 8. Today was dead calm up in Middle Park.

I hung the big overhead doors on the snowcat shop at peak 8. That would be around 1985 or 6? I worked for the overhead door company there in Frisco. I didn't stay long as my commute from BV to there every day wasn't worth all the time I had to deal with. Sometimes we'd go as far as Steamboat to work for the day and then it was really late by the time I got home.
