I saw this go overhead yesterday out walking the dogs and snapped this shot with my smugphone. I wished my Pano, ZS40 was working, because I could zoom in enough to possibly I.D. what these aircraft were. They were cruising at a pretty good clip, that seemed a bit faster than the average speed of a commercial airliner.

I look at trails all day long. That is a different formation. Way closer together than normal traffic that I’ve noticed.

That almost has to be military. Three fighters travelling across country. I'll bet those 3 pilots were having a ball. Every single day, at about 3:30 pm, give or take, a B-52 flies over my house. Sometimes two, one after another. Always headed south. Maybe flying toward Barksdale, LA where there's a base?? I believe military jets travel above 39,000 ft. but not positive. Gary
