While walking back up here, the neighbor peaked his head out and Offered to Shovel for me.
But as I told him, 6 Hours from now you won't be able to Tell.

Even the Plows aren't going yet.

apparently he likes shoveling more then I do, so if it gets too much,
at least I know a BACK-UP :laughing7:

I find that it is much easier for me to shovel a little bit at a time rather than waiting for it all to fall. But I also do mine by hand and have a fairly small driveway. I would rather shovel 3" x 4 than 12" x 1. I can "push" 3". I can't "push" 12" by hand which means I'm scooping/lifting it which is way more work.

My driveway runs 130' from the house, and 90' from the
garage (there's also a center island) and all of it on a grade.

Just a foot of snow here ain't too bad..it's the heavy late winter
snows in Feb. and March that really pile up in a hurry. Learned
to just park the car at the top of the driveway before it's buried,
and then no need to shovel the driveway. ...

...at least not til the plow comes by and leaves a mountain of snow
at the edge of the driveway. That heavy plowed crap is the worst to
have to shovel.

I Just Measured 11 Inches beside my car where wind is somewhat blocked.

10 inches on the Trunk Lid

So with the 20 to 39 mph winds probably 10 1/2" here

We're getting a taste of it today and into Wed. Nothing really to worry about as the post up a weather advisory shows 7-14cm, but any snow flake seems to bring out an advisory now a days.

7 yrs ago ATV and the tractor snow blower, and then a used walk behind snowblower. Then 2 yrs ago I bought a plow for the truck, having 300' of back lane, yard of 100 x 40', then the area between garage and barn. The shop yard and the sugar bush trails it's comfort to have the 4x4/heat/radio and time saved. What use to take 3-4 hrs of sitting out in the elements can be done now in comfort in a little over a hour.
