Thanks ALL for your input,

Looks like only one coon this time. Not long ago, I opened the door after dark and surprised four of them.

From what Ive been taught,that coon doesn't live very far from your food supply. They have no fur on the pads of there feet and if they travel on snow covered ground they wont go very far. They will how ever venture out on warm snow covered nights. JMO

A cat I used to have stayed outside most of the time and was usually fed on the back porch. Well, she found a "friend" and would sit there at the bowl and watch a possum come up, eat a bit, then wander off. Then the cat would finish the meal. This went on for a few months til we moved.
