Someone recently snapped a pic of a bobcat snatcing a shark out of the surf at Sebastian Inlet. Bait fish moving in the surf attracts sharks. Seems sharks are fair game for a big Florida bobcat.

... Salt water kitty. I wonder what kind of shark? Bird eater that slaps with tail? With all those huge pythons slithering around, seafood diet must be safer.

No sharks here but we got bobcats,saw one catch a small gar once.Nice pic.

I think it would be easier to bite into a shark than through those ganoid gar scales.

It was a small spotted gar,they were spawning at the time close to the bank,making a lot of splashing which attracted the bob.I wondered about that myself,but didn,t get to watch to see how he did it.He did carry it off.
