Gorgeous colors, and superb composition, too!

But hey, I've got a great view of a cemetery across my back fence. Wanna trade? ::)

Those would be some great beaches there, if it were legal to detect them. That place is a hang-out for the wealthy. (That's why I stayed up the road in Montpellier when I was there last ;) ) Great photo! Thanks for keeping us posted on your journey!

Actually the beaches are basically the only places you can detect. But when you see the ruins of a 12th century Church, or the remains of a Roman Aqueduct, well, the beaches just seem boring! ;D

Quite true! If you're ever in Montpellier don't get that excited about the Aqueducts--they were built by King Louis (modeled after the Roman ones) and they are "new" ("only" 250 years old or so) :P With all that travel, I think you qualify as a professional treasure hunter. ;D

Wish I were there in good 'ole France. If you are in Germany/Austria during this trip, let me know. I have some excellent contacts there.

Regards,

Buckleboy
