Today I met some folks (from Hot Springs AR area), at the 'old strip pits' where I hunt for fossils, I had met one man a few months ago.
He brought his friends to hunt the area, & I met them there & guided them to the place where I had found 'fossil trees standing upright', which I posted on (Fossils) earlier.
They were finding several fern leaves, & we found one piece of pyrite, then we drove to the other site, & they dug out a few 'Calamites', (petrified wood).
I had to leave , but they went back to hunt some more.
They said they were professional people, Doctor, Botanist, retired Educator,
etc....., but one guy looked a lot like a pic I saw on the post office wall. ;D
You can never be to careful these days.
I invited them to see my 'collection' next trip.
