Very nice pics! It makes me miss AZ! I used to live in SE Arizona in Sierra Vista when I was a UAV Instructor at FT Huachuca during the last 3 years that I was in the Marine Corps. I was there from Feb '93 to Sep '96. I used to get around the Cochise County area quite a bit. Regrettably, I wasn't actively detecting at the time. I enjoyed being out there quite a bit though so thanks for the pics. The pic that your hubby put up of him detecting around the mine in Oatman really brought back memories because it looked just like the terrain in the Mule Mountains around Bisbee.

The first 3 were taken on Old Rte. 66 between Oatman, AZ and Kingman.

The others are of Old Fort Mohave on Hwy. 68 between Bullhead City and Kingman. My husband seger98 wrote a story on it in the Ghost Town section. very neat places!

Thanks for all the nice comments.

No, we haven't found any Indian artifacts here, mostly just metal detect around the old mines!

Looks like those big dogs are having fun!

I always check my cooler before heading out places like that...

If you are able to get a showing for nuggets, a drywasher will be next...
