Looks like a good enough place to play with an old flathead...

But I don't see any tracks.

That's a cool scene, brings back some good memories. I have only been up there one time in 1964, and I always wanted to go back for a visit.
We were on our way from Alabama to Syracuse,NY, and a storm hit big time, we fueled up in Oil City PA and everything closed in, we tried up near the border and ended up getting intercepted in Canada. We headed west. Only thing open was SD. We were around
Madison and got a call we had a chance at Stevens Point. That old Goony Bird made it.C-47
I have never been in a place that made us more welcome and the people were tops. So I get on every house top and tell the world Wisc. is great, don't knock it. LOL Gnewt

Wisconsin always had some of the greatest pike and bass fishing. Was there for vacation during my childhood. We hit a school of bass one day. They fought much more than the huge pike. ;)
