Nice one!
You have a good eye for natural wonders.
I am curious if trees do that "on purpose" in order to retain water
or something.
See how treasure hunting spills over into other areas, like
nature, biology, geology, weather, history - - enjoy the ride!

thanx! I have a tree thing. Wherever I go I find a tree that has to have it's pic taken. here's another one. there are several on this stretch of the creek that look like hobit homes, but smell like skunk. kept my distance, but couldn't resist their beauty

Nice!! My wife likes those kind of natural vases also to use for her dried flower arrangements. I'm always looking for these natural character type tree's also. You have a good eye, some folks look, and some see. :)

Great pictures, I was trying to see some possum tracks. If you look you can always find some weird things trees do. I find that in almost every tree on creeks. Gnewt
