It is really helpful in treasure hunting to look up old maps.
Here is Folsom California viewed as
a) a current map
b) old map 1900
c) old aerial photo (1950s)

It helps to show which parts of town are old, which makes
treasure hunting more rewarding.
The rivers were dredged in the search for gold,
and Folsom was mostly covered with tailing piles, many still
in place today.

Do you ever find any good bottle dumps in Folsom? There must be a few still waiting to be dug up. Let me know if you find one, I'll be up there in a flash. HEHEHE
