Good job! Looks alot better than my attempt at taking otter pics last summer. I was walking along side a stream looking for birds when a famil of otters came zooming by. I did get a couple of blurred shots off. ::)

Neat pic, I love to watch them fish, one day I watched a pair, plus a young one catch fish, then crawl up on a log & eat them.
They were gone from this area when I was younger, but after 'restocking', they are thriving.
But you probably have 'sea otters' out there.

Fossis..............

These were 100 mi. from saltwater and I have seen seals this far up the river..Good question. It's good to see the wildlife is still there.

When we lived in La Ceiba, Honduras, one of the kids of the Standard Fruit Co.'s manager had a pet otter. He found the beastie when it was just weaned and raised it. Otty was 4 years old when we met it and he lived in Baird's bathtub!

And your only sharing one picture? Where are the rest? Bring them on, no keeping them for yourself! :D

Great picture, I would have loved to watch them. :)

This is what I was after. Something has been biting my bass! (note the scar on the back of the bass)

I let the large and smallmouth bass go. I will keep a 10 lb. striped bass. Very worth eating! This is a small mouth bass.
