Jim,

What can I say? Those are some pretty pics though...I bet when you was watching the live shots of the LBH, seeing us in shorts, short sleeves and sweating up a storm you were wishing you was in steamy LA. :sign10:

Hopefully it all falls in the mountains before it gets to me... on the other hand - thats where Fingers lives... :(

Oh well, look at it this way; because of global warming, our children's children will not have to endure these hardships! Hang in there, it's bound to become Spring any time for you now...

Yup... it was gone completely in a week here where I am... I think Fingers might still have some though.

I am ready for some warmer weather, I know I will complain when it gets HOT but I am just wanting to not worry about a jacket for a while!

As much as I want the snow gone I do know that we need it so the fire season doesn't hit as soon as last year.
The Jocko Lakes Fire hit us hard and heavy very fast. I was evacuated for 32 days. This picture is from my balcony when the fire was about an hour old. I hope you don't mind me posting on your thread Jim...

I can just imagine the panic in such a situation. Too bad they can't manage forest areas like the way I can remember growing up in my early years. Logging was common, trees would be taken out...then planted again. Now the trees burn up and then planted again. Seems a small amount of logging around towns could save a few homes.
