Batersea Revolutionary war reenactment at Petersburg VA.


Hi, I’m new to the forum, but have been a subscriber to W&E Treasure magazine for a while. Thought you fellows might be interested in some of the photos, I took while at the Batersea reenactment. By the way does anyone here attend or participate in reenactments.

Wow! Thanks for the pics! I have never seen a reenactment before but had a couple of friends that did the civil war reeneactments. That would be a blast to see! Welcome to the Treasurenet family too! So glad you joined us!

Thanks for the warm welcome Cynangyl and Nick. Glad to be here, Yes, the reenactments are vary fun and educational you do meet allot interesting people along the way. I do allot of research , mainly for personal enjoyment, involving the American Revolutionary War. I guess, I kind of have a addiction to it. So have you guys been detecting for a long time? I mainly relic hunt and coin shoot, but plan on trying my hand at gold here soon..

I do treasure hunting in many forms, metal detecting, sunstone mining, rockhounding, prospecting....always fun no matter what the hunt is for! Looking forward to seeing some of your finds and how you like grubbin for gold too!
