Here's a few pics of a tree in my back yard. I've always heard it called a "Smoke" tree as it's blooms are wispy strands that from a distance make it appear to be wrapped in smoke.

You can see the effects of the late freeze last year by the dead branch in the center of the 2nd pic.

That tree is great! What a nice addition to any yard. :) I finally got to do some planting this weekend. Guess what? May get a frost Thursday morning, 80 degrees yesterday, what is up with that?

What is up with that is you live too far north. GET OUT THE SNOWSHOES! :thumbsup:
