I snapped this picture last weekend at an old homesite in one of the worst neighborhoods in one of the most dangerous cities in the US. I got there early (6AM) and the crackheads were already out and about. The house, built in 1709, is in the National Register of Historic Places.

After I took the photo I found the old photo, taken in 1936, on the Library of Congress American Memories Collection website (http://www.lib.gov)

I cannot believe I took the exact photo 70 years later.

Take an awful lot to fix it up. Maybe take it down and put it up somewhere safe! :icon_scratch:

shame that town has gone to pot...or crack. The crack heads weren't up already...they were up still!
