I like pics of the Great Pacific Northwest.

That's Mt. Hood, lined up in the roadway view, isn't it?

Pics are sometimes better than being there... You get no view of anything but tree trunks in many places.

I like a panoramic view... without mushrooms growing on every last thing!

Someday I'd like to travel over to the eastern side of the mountains... maybe when gas goes down? ;D

Thanks for the pretty picture!

I've never been there, but hubby was in Washington for a company conference. He made a side trip to the Cascades, his pics proved that it's a beautiful place.

 RR

The mountain is Yoran peak, it's next to Diamond peak. The picture was was taken on the road that goes from Hwy. 58 to Waldo Lake. The picture was taken on the way back from Waldo Lake looking south.

Heres a picture of Waldo Lake that same morning.

Thanks ALL

Your photos (and subjects) are truly breath-taking. You should send them to a calendar company and see if you can get some of them published. It would be so cool to look at the month of April, for example, and see your photo on that page, wouldn't it?!!

Your making me blush TT, ;D

I did have my own calender made one year, pretty reasonable price if I remember correctly. Also easy to do, just sent the the pics to Costco online.

Your right also about the subjects, pretty easy when you live in the middle of paradise, however I still need to drive a few miles to get to some of these places, and with gas at $4.39 a gallon at the minute, we have been staying home alot.

Thanks TT, and to Everyone for your input,

Ron
