The Great Train Wreck

This train wreck was caused by wet conditions that softened the ground under the tracks. 13 cars were derailed and destroyed and about 1000 ft. of rail had to be replaced. The same day this happened, another train wreck happened in Va. with 3 cars knocked over.
The one in Va. made CNN news. The one here, barely made the local news

it sure does make a mess. 2 years ago, 53 cars derailed outside Belle Plaine, Ks. the line was closed for about a week, there is still parts the railroad left behind, along side the tracks
