Re: I'd preffer a fawn over a coyote any day! Trail cam.
Donna, I want to see pictures of the moose!
Jimbob, About 5 miles, I was at work. The pictures were taken by my trail camera, I have it just inside the woods behind my house. We thought one of the deer were pregnant, I guess we were right. Sweet little bugger.

Kim, glad to see your trail cam came thru for you again, I had a doe on my property this week at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, oblivious to the humans close to her at the playground. She wanted to eat all the wild mushrooms growing near the pond and I kept looking and hoping she had a fawn with her so I could get a good photograph, but nope, she must have decided not to be bothered with kids this year~ 8)

Don. I wanna see those pictures! So take a break with your camera.
Granny, Glad I can share. Really!
Plehbah, My position...........I've been around hunting all my life, I have raised and slaughtered cows & pigs, I eat venison, I have eaten rabit, duck, even snails, bear, maybe even possum . But do not touch little Bambi! Heck has no furry like a woman scorned! Now the coyote......no other animal I can think of is such a vicious killer, when it's hungry. Well.....get a rodent, be my guest at a snake, go dumpster diving. Leave the vanerable alone. I am far from proper hunting, but a coyote does not hunt fair. Tell me otherwise?
Folks, Let them nibble on the garden, why not? If not them it's the other critters.
Hellcat, great pictures! I'd love that. Maybe a trail camera would be right for you? Lasivian? Now be nice.

Nice green grass there in Scotland!
Deer absolutely love browsing in mowed lawns and fields. For some reason they prefer the shorter grass, could be the grass is better that way or it's easier to find the clover or whatever it is they're looking for with their poor eyesight.
I need to get a trailcam, had I been faster on the draw, we've got deer feeding under the apple tree in the side yard while we're on the front porch. A pair of buck twins in the herd.
I think the electric fence has sent it's warning, no deer tracks there lately, but they are using the path I cleared up the hollow past the garden shed.

Well go get a trail cam !!! I want to Thank everyone of you that post pics and have these cameras I wish I had a place to do it! We see deer by the busiest intersection in town (the hospital) and we use to have possum here by the house once a year one would come up and have babies under neghbors house then they would leave with the pit bulls running loose we dont even have that anymore!
