Hi stranger!

Was starting to wonder if Kim was mad at me or something.
LOL
I'll keep shooting pix if you keep posting.

Good to see you,

Falcon,

You don't know what you are missing,
especially if you can't take the time to enjoy what was made for just that reason.

A lot of folk's go to a church on Sunday,
and then come home and complain about each other and how they looked and what they wore
or what kind of outdated car they drove away in.

I go up here on a Sunday... sometimes I take a friend.
We can search out and discuss the Spanish signs, flyfish, study the cliffs or just wander through the trees.
Always find something new, always.
I can come home refreshed, renewed and ready to face another week of racing with the rats.

I have no reason to complain ... I got to spend time in one of the greatest places on earth.

and I can talk as loud as I want and I know God hears me ... it's His house.

Old Dog I went through western Colorado on I-70. Could not believe the peaches at Grand Junction. I sure wish I could of stoped and got off the main road. Traveled west to east Wow what a difference. Don't know if you live anywhere near GJ but it is God's country.

Burdie,
I am about a mile to the East of Grand Junction, Towards Clifton.

I like the peaches too. as well as cherries, apricots, plums, nectarines, apples and pears.
There are some world class winerys springing up in the valley and a lot of the orchards have gone to vinyards.

Lots of changes ... lots bigger now and not at all better.

Thanks Cyndi,

I'm just glad that guy was hungry enough to hang around for a while.
The breeze coming through there was moving the tall stuff around and no matter how still I got this fellow was continuously on the move.

It really is nice,
It helps keep the skeeters off.
If that breeze wasn't blowing you would have to use an awful lot of bug dope to keep them at bay.

certain times of the year there are little biting flies that even bug repellent won't stop,
you coat yourself with babyoil and drown the little beggars when they land on you.
Either that or

run, screaming like a girl.

LOL
