Nice pic and it definitely looks like he had a run in with something. It also looks like he may have been limping like that back hind leg may have been injured to.

Don´t see many here, only about six this year. Even the Roe Deer seem to have gone into hiding. Probably too many hunters about at the moment, as usually they come and visit my garden.

Hello Ray.

Few Hunters here. Though Deers are few, mostly seen in early morning.

Few in my garden when I get up..

Good catch with the camera. Looks like he had a narrow escape by the looks of his tail.

You always see the best shots when you don't have the camera in your hands.

When I want to see them nowaday´s, I have to go to the forest (Lots of wild boar), or go out in the evening with night vision glasses.

We also have wild boar but they are deeper in the undergrowth and forest.

Evening is also ok but morning is best for me. about 6 in the morning is a good time.

The way I sleep at the moment (The thunderstorms play hell with my arthritus), it´s about 3 or 4 in the morning before I can even try sleeping LOL

I'm sorry to hear Ray, when camping with the tent and my father is with I usually talk until that time.

Wish you the best,
Eu

Well Thursday should be dry, so maybe get out then, and along with the detecting, see if I get to see any Deer or Foxes. In Oct. I´ll maybe get to a Rally in England for a holiday. Nice and cheap, and after I can visit my family too, so a nice combination.
Ray

Good Luck then Ray! Sadly there are no rallies here in Sweden.

I hope to get more pics of these creatures.
