I used to respond to those type situations for a living.
I did that for 27 years, and yes its a bit exciting.

YIKES! Just seeing those photos is enough to make me spew my ginger ale. What's all that stuff in the bottom of the pit? :icon_scratch:

Those less fortunate.. the barriers there are not very sturdy :'(

Wow!!!
And I thought this 30 foot drop I seen the other day, without a guardrail, would have been a heck of a drop...

Hello,
Last night I saw your pic of that truck that so nearly went over the edge and the replies to it. Today I thought about it different times how close it was and thinking about the various replies. One thought led to another, then I remembered a gag gift that I saw once.
My wife and I was looking around in a gift shop while on a trip. There was a little wooden box
about 4" by 6" with the words EMERGENCY KIT printed on top. When I lifted the lid, there were
two brown corn cobs and one white one. Resting neatly on the three cobs was a small piece of
paper folded in half. The word DIRECTIONS was printed on it. Inside it said
USE ONE BROWN CORN COB,
THEN USE THE WHITE ONE
TO SEE IF YOU STILL NEED
THE OTHER BROWN ONE.

If I remember correctly the price was $3.00.
