Nice, I miss growing Sunflowers, but after years of Squirrels and Deer wiping them out before they were ready for harvest, I no longer plant them, but do enjoy seeing photos of what others have grown.

Did you do anything to get them to branch out? Or did they do it on their own?

Mine shot up over seven-eight feet. A neighbor has some that look like trees, with multiple branches and heads. Just wondered if I need to trim them before they bloom.

Very nice,,,
I think out of all the flowers we have planted I like the sunflowers the most...
The ones we planted shot out in all different directions and looked really nice until these small Finches got a hold of them.
You can see a little of the damage they did in the first pic, but if you look at the second half you can clearly see what they have done...
They have pretty much wiped them out now. I guess I don't mind it too bad as long as their eating the seeds and not just tearing them up for the heck of it... The finches are pretty too, but I haven't been able to get a good shot of them yet...

Here's one of ours, we've got a row 75' long. It's been a little while since I visited the garden, the sunflowers are now 8-10' tall, or more. I'm 6' tall, you can see my finger at the bottom of the pic, my arm is stretched out as far as I can reach. Something tells me I should have topped these before they bloomed. There's about seven bumblebees working on this one.
