Frosty"s Vacation

Thought I'd take you camping with us this past week, hope you enjoy it as mush as we did!!
We had the entire campground to ourselves for the first four days then there were only five or six others that came in for the weekend that we were leaving. It was soooooo peaceful... Here are some pics of critters that we came across and pics of Mark Twain Lake that was flooded about a month or two ago, and our campsite. Thanks for looking.

This is Mark Twain Lake near Hannibal, Missouri. Indian Creek Campground near Indian Creek, about ten miles southwest of Monroe City, Mo. on highway 24. The campground is 9.5 miles south of highway 24, has large concrete pads for campers and the spots are very spacious. A very peaceful place. The pics of the lake show how high the water was during the recent floods. The old cabin is Mark Twain's (Samuel Clemens) birthplace in Florida, Mo. and the grave marker is his grandfather's final resting place by the church under a large oak tree. The lake is about thirty miles west of Hannibal on Highway 24. Thanks for looking.
