Beautiful scope you have there. Do you have a mount/coupler for the camera?

By the way, how's the weather holding up down there?

Yes I have a 2" adapter tube that fits directly into the focuser. The other end is a T mount which is adapted to the Nikon. It will only work in manual mode with the T mount attached. I usually keep in in manual anyway.

Weather has been very wet with some winds to 35MPH. Everything has missed us so far. Fay rained on us for 5 days. It was raining and steamy humidity, like a jungle...lol.

I will post some more pics from time to time if everyone likes them.

Thanks to all for all the good words.

Yeah, we have that lovely humidity here now (N.C.). :help:

Astronomy, thats one of my other hobbies tooo. I wanted to get into astrophotography, and sorta did with a cheap EQ scope and cheap camera, which made me loose intrest. lol We started building an observatory, but never finished it. I got a Orion XT8, and an Orion SVP 8 EQ. Also have Orions star shoot planetary imager. The SVP (Sky view pro) mount sucks, has play in the gears, so doesnt work to well. I havent taken my scopes out in a while, nor have i been metal detecting, i just fish alot lately. :D
