I think this is a hawk not really sure, but it sure was watching the area for lunch

not sure, but I do know he wasn't worried about me, I got within about 20 ft and he still didn't fly away

Sure does look like an Osprey. There should be a darker streak behind the eye, just might be missing it in the photo. What a magnificent bird!

has the form of a peragrine falcon and the color of a lamb.

it's still hanging around, been here for about 2 months now.
size I'd say is about the size of a crow

That size would be right for a Mississippi Kite.
Nice visitor to have... unless you get too close to their nests... they will attack.

Benz, I do believe you're right, the color and size is right. He's still hanging around, saw him last night in the neighbors tree in his front yard
