It's Football Time in Tennessee! - 2008
Yesterday I attended my umpteenth Opening Game at the University of Tennessee's Home Opener. Here's a few photos.
The first is watching the Pride of the Southland Band marching to the stadium:
The next is the Band's "Salute to the Hill":
Here's the "Power T for Tennessee":
Here's the first team running back, Arian Foster, running to the left side of the line:
Here's a pass to wide receiver Lucas Taylor:
A kick-off after a touchdown:
A closer view of the kick-off (see the ball? Under the 50 yard line marker:
Here's a shot of kicker Daniel Lincoln making an extra point:
And a closer view; the ball is just above the officials head that is standing above the pylon:
Oh, and as a reward for winning 35 to 3, this is what we found on the way back to Nashville! (BTW, it was around $3.75 on the way to the game):

Glad they won. How and the heck can they get away with raising the price of gas that high!?
