Today I hosted a fundraiser for a no-kill animal shelter, the 2008 Mutt March. It's one of my favorite events!

My hat is off to the amazing volunteers that make it happen!

ohh, NEVER ask for more "poochie pics" I do have a wicked kissing booth image BUT I have of yet to figure out how to re-size the image.
Anyway, in the meantime here's one of my FAVE participant. She attends every year with her dog Sunny...she makes their costumes, never won the costume contest...until this year That made me smile HUGE

OK I'll take 5 big old smooches! But I want a free one from the big white one in the first picture! What a great event. I'd be interested in some more information, to try something like this around here. I know Aff would try it too. He's a real softy when it comes to dogs.

Oh, you're right about that! As soon as we finish building our house and get settled in, we're going to start doing the whole dog-shelter thing in earnest. Not that you can call having 18 rescued dogs living with you un-earnest, but you know what I mean.
