Automotive Technology Questions & Answers

I am an automotive instructor at Guilford Technical Community College. I was wondering if you would like to add a general automobile Q&A for treasure hunters section here? I have 14 years in the business as a Chevrolet dealers shop foreman and have been teaching for 7 years. I also have access to a lot of info and you would be surprised how many members probably do too. Just a thought. - Starbuck

Jeff on the link someone mentioned the vaccum line to the actuator was the problem, That happened on 2 chevy trucks I've had one was an s-10 pick-up and the other a full size pick-up. The 4Wd light was on but it wasn't engaging the front axle. I hope it's a simple fix for you. Good Luck

My 4 Wheel Drive Light wont Come on,
I was told there are 2 Electric Boxes
so it may be one or both or a fuse I suppose.
Hopefully whatever it is it's easy to get at.
Even though price will probably be a shock either way.

Seems when a Fix is Quick the part is Expensive.

When The Fix is LONG the part is Cheap & they get you on Labor.

either way, If I lay on My Back or look straight up for more
then 30 seconds, I get severe Vertigo for the past couple years.

So most of My Auto Work is done by the Chevy Dealer now :(

Yesterday I tried to look at my Fuse box & nearly Passed out :P
