Wow....thats a real beautiful walleye cooper 1841. Sweet catch, congrats !! I sometimes come through the welland canal with a yacht that I crew on, so I actually know where that is !! Thanks for the post, great pic. !!

BLACK GROUPER THE DAY BEFORE THE SEASON CLOSED !! little rat sail !! Caught him today.got out late, it was rough and cold !! We saw 4 sailfish and caught 2. Not bad but not great either. Wheeeeeew.........finally done fishing for a couple days. Fished all the way through the holidays with only newyears day off. Im ready for a little break. It was good, lots of sails and mutton snappers. Caught nice mangrove snappers on the patch reefs too !!

Somehow you don't strike me as the type of guy that needs a break from fishing, lol. Although, you're probably looking forward to some family time.

You can see the marks on his body where he was wrapped in the leader. I fought him by hand on the leader twice. He got away from me the first time and made a nice second run. Not sure how long but it was a battle !! Not sure about the fish oil but they taste great. Top 3 for eating. Mako, thresher, and lemon shark and then black tip. That photo has to be 12 years old !! Man the good old days !!

No. Both our phones died. All that roaming. I didn't have the camera. When we got a little charge, I had voice mail. Found out my mom was taken to emergency. She's been on blood thinners and had a sore start bleeding all over. So we left the fish with a friend and had to race back home. She ended up being OK. We are supposed to be having a fish fry in a couple weeks. Maybe I will post them already cooked.
