Earthquake Swarms Worldwide

I think the earth is entering a very active earthquake time period. The odds of a mega quake crack 10 happening are great. That last big Chile quake nudged the earth's axis rotation. That and the wobble effect make a mega quake almost over due. The moon's gravitational pull also has been impacting the earth as it spins. Can't wait for Halloween....

I was wrong. No crack 10 quake. However I do sense a 9.1 near Greece and Italy...soon.

I was just looking at the seismicity near Greece in the past 2 weeks - Cappy - you may be onto something.

... and the swarm continues on the outskirts of the Aegean Sea... including a 4.7 and a 3.7 in the past 8 hours.

With the seismologists on trial in Italy for not predictive the 2009 L'Aquila quake (there was a swarm preceding it) I am surprised no one (as far as I can tell) is talking about this swarm of quakes! It IS significant!

Watch out Crete!

Don't know if you are watching Cappy - but a 5.1 occurred 50 minutes ago in the S. of Greece...

I would not be surprised to see a large quake in the coming days just east of Crete.

well, a 4.5 occurred a little more than an hour ago - EAST OF CRETE.

I don't think we have seen the last of this swarm....

Google "Alexandria tsunami" and see what has happened in the past!

Don't know where else to post this - but last night I had a dream - seeing the USGS map with 3 6.2 or so quakes at roughly the same time in So. CA... it was just a dream, but I wanted to post it for posterity... 8)
