I was reading an article in the Pick and Shovel the other day about a guy who was digging up coins from the 17 and 1800's in Russia. He was detecting near a natural spring in a small town. He had the idea this was some sort of wishing well for the local citizens since it was the only source of fresh water for the entire town. That got me to wondering, how many "wishing wells" are there in Nebraska? I do not expect everyone to give away any good ideas here, however, if you know of a situation like this, you might want to get out there and swing your coil over the spot.
