Just spent the last week in New Jersey with my metal detecting buddy. It took 2 days to get permission to hunt Cadwalader Park in Trenton. We were told to go ahead but, no digging. Not what we wanted to hear but we made the best of it. Surface finds and anything shallow enough to pop out with screwdrivers.
We found tons of clad, 2 silver dimes ( 1 rosie 1 merc) and 17 wheat cents.
My question is this. Has anyone on TNET ever hunted this park?
We have each been detecting about 9 years, so not newbies. My buddy uses an e-trac and atpro. I use a V3i and F75SE, new model. We got NO deep signals on coins! There should have been targets everywhere. We would have had to leave them, not being able to dig but, they just were not there. Surely, someone has pounded this park in the past and done a great job! 100 acres of clad and bottle caps.
Anybody out there hunted Cadwalader Park in Trenton New Jersey,
