I am a newbie to this hobby since my daughter got the bug and she returns from college in May. Problem is (not a problem I think) I am an avid surf fisherman and fish for striped bass predominantly at night, so I will have to find some time to do this. I told my daughter that she should come with me and hunt the beaches where I fish since most of them are heavily trafficked by bathers during the day, seems like the nighttime would be a good time without any interruptions. Anyway, I just purchased a used Classic ID for $200 and have been practicing in the front yard. I like this unit's simplicity but find I need a new left hip and back since I am using different muscle sets for this experience. Can I get a longer shaft for this unit so I am less hunched over, I'm 6'3" with a bad back... Great site here and looking to contribute once we get up and running...
