Hi everyone! : ) I made an account because my boyfriend (fisher2) and his father (fmerg) had me go out detecting with them and i figured i could share some of my things on here. The other day we went out to an old foundation, i found a silver plated spoon, and a couple old button looking things lol. also i found an Indian head penny, 1864 which is really nice according to fmerg, you can clearly read "liberty" on the headdress and if it wasn't dug it probably would be worth good money. i found another Indian head today which was 1880 but not so nice of condition, i also found a small flat button. i probably wont post often but i will anytime i find something cool. i usually go out with them detecting about once or twice a week depending on my work schedule. please comment on the pics, and feel free to ask any questions! : )

welcome! I'm a newbie too. Don't worry, you'll be pulling silver and gold in no time. It took me until my 3rd trip out to dig anything substantial. ( 2 silver rosies, 1 silver war nickel, and a 14k gold mens ring with 2 rubies). It's a beaut! Anyhow, keep on keepin' on! Bryan H.
