I'm a newbie on this forum, been lurking for a few days and there's a lot of interesting stuff on here. I have a metal detector, a Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 and I am still in the process of learning how to use it. I will ask a few questions later in the other forums.
So far my finds are:
About $5 in clad, 10 Indian head cents, 1887-1909 and a 1909 Lincoln
No silver yet, but a ton of junk metal and pull tabs. This stuff is from my front yard, as the house was first built in 1720. I'm thinking I should be finding a lot more stuff here than just this, considering that the deepest indian head was about 10 inches.
I'm expecting to learn a lot from this forum as I am on others and they have taught me more than the books ever could. Cant wait to share my next finds!

Hi Rachums :hello: Welcome to Treasurenet. It sounds like you're already off to a good start with your machine. It took me a year to find an Indian Head penny. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your finds. Everyone here is very helpful and willing to offer plenty of advice. You're going to love it here. :hello2:

Peachy :tongue3:
