So I take it that it will be a decent detector for a newbie? I have my grandpas old detector I think its a white 6000d , it was top of the line in the 70' I think. compared to the coinmaster it weighs a ton and has several knobs and such that I can not remember what do. I was just a young fellow when I went with him and dont remember much other than just spending days with him detecting. I went to a white dealer and he reccommended the coinmaster or coinmaster pro for the amount I was willing to spend and to get me started. Not sure if gonna become full time hobby or not so not wanting to break the bank yet.
