Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Hi, I have been a TN member for almost a year and used a detector since the 60s. Mostly detecting for fun, but we did use them some on archaeology surveys for work/contract reasons, although they have not become as popular as they should have on the job. No telling what we could have found by using them. Found some tokens which are usually unique and it takes a lot of help to determine for what purpose they were made. Thanks to all the scholars on board.

Hi I'm new on here, I'm from new Brunswick Canada, I just got into metal detecting this year and even though I didn't find any big treasure I did find a few interesting pieces. Is there anyone else on here from new Brunswick, can anyone on here tell me what kind of headphones to get for my Tesoro metal detector.

Hi from upstate New York. I am not a newbie but haven't been on much due to taking care of my Mom. I just recently lost her and am turning my mind back to MDing. I got into the hobby several years ago but then my Mom needed me so I put it on hold. I have always enjoyed metal detecting and now I think I need it just to get my mind off things and heal. When I am out there and get a hit all I can think about is what is in that hole! This hobby certainly stimulates the mind and makes the world go away and is rewarding when you find something good. Bummer that we have snow and cold right now.
