Clark and Ellen's cousin
Hey Now!!!
Hey everyone!! I'm new to metal detecting and stumbled upon this site. I have been wanting to get into detecting for years and now that my life has slowed down a bit, I have some time to enjoy hunting for coins, jewelry, relics, etc. I have a White's Coinmaster and it seems to work just fine. It's not so great at pin pointing...maybe I just suck, hahaha!! Haven't found much as I just started to get out there within the last week. Found alot of old beer/soda tabs, whippet bottles, a few quarters, lead sinkers...haha!! It's cool though and I really dig the hunt. The only thing that irks me a little is that this Coinmaster doesn't seem to pinpoint very accurately. It will point out that the object is within 2 inches, but at 7 inches down I still can't find the object. Maybe I just need to get used to the machine. I would LOVE some suggestions as to how to properly use my Coinmaster and would love to hear some finds from those that have the same detector as me. I live in Upper Bucks County, Pa. Would love to hear some places worth going to in my area....

Wellcome
Pinpointing is a art. You also might try getting a pin pointer, it saves time for a lot of people.

Since posting this thread, I traded the Coinmaster for the Coinmaster pro. It was only another $100 and is a better detector. Thanks for the welcome...
