Although most of your general area is probably off Limits
(just a guess)
private properties would probably be great if you can get in them.

hopefully someone who knows the area will see this & Chime in.

welcome & Good Luck !

Hi Ryan. I'm brand new to the forum myself and live down the road from you in Chester County, PA. I'm researching detectors and will purchase my first one shortly. As Jeff mentioned above, private farmlands adjacent to all the Rev. War battlefields would be my areas to search. I'm also going to bring mine to the Jersey shore points this Summer. Would appreciate any advice from experienced members. Thanks in advance. - Jim

I used to live in Delaware county. Anywhere you hunt can potentially have good finds. Hunt public school grounds, ball fields and parks. Practice digging nice plugs at home so you don't leave holes. Fill all holes. Good luck! State parks require permission from the park and National parks are off limits.
