    New to hobby from Central Indiana!!

    Hello all. Just started detecting this spring with a Garrett ACE 250 easy starter detector I am told. I have a few nice spots I have been hitting getting used to reading the detector and have found several coins, even my first silver coin. Over the last couple of days I had stumbled upon your website here and was browsing through everybody's finds getting me all fired up. Well tonight I tried a NEW spot and found my first Diamond and Gold ring!!!! 5 minutes into the hunt! I was soo ecstatic I yelled for my wife and nephew. I feel like an official detector now, LOL.

    Looking for people to detect with and exchange location info with. Will probably use the money from the ring to upgrade the detector for next year. I am HOOKED!!
