come on people, at least say what counties you are in- im in sullivan, from orange (I point that out as to clarify that I'm not a hillbilly.., and I'm only missing one tooth.)
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

Hello from White Plains, New York. Is it Better? I really can't answer that. What I can say, is that for the additional money you will spend to purchase the Minelab Excalibur, you'll get an additional 1.5"-2" in depth. Whether or not you NEED that additional depth in most beach detecting situations is another thread completely. Good Luck to you.

Hey Bil I am in Dutchess myself...Fishkill. I have a couple of friends that use the Excal and they love it. I have a CTX 3030 and swear by it. I was always a Whites guy for 30 years, but once I tried Minelab I am not going back.
